K.V. Welcome to No. 1, Bhubaneswar.Kendriya Vidyalaya is a speed setting and trend setting institution under the Department of Human Resource Development. Of India This school is situated in a vast campus of unit-IX, only 3kms away from Utkal University .KV No-1 Bhubaneswar is a CBSE affiliated school under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Ministry of Education of India (MoE).The school was started in 1967 as “Unit-I Boy’s High School” in Bhubaneswar. After almost one year of operation, the school was shifted to the present area at unit-IX of Bhubaneswar in 2005 and became a “Two-Shift School”.The school got NABET accreditation from 26 July 2012 to 25 July 2016 and got British Council International School Award in 2013
